This patient-responsive medical ventilator is designed to restore breathing in patients with respiratory arrest by using compressed oxygen.
It detects the patient’s lung condition such as lung volume and compliance, and automatically adjusts the breathing rate (BPM) and tidal volume (oxygen supply per breath) accordingly. The device can be used not only in emergency situations but also during patient transport or in hospital emergency rooms. It can be connected to a wall-mounted oxygen outlet and is suitable for both non- breathing patients (providing artificial ventilation) and spontaneously breathing patients (providing supplemental oxygen). A portable kit version is also available, which includes a 2.8L oxygen cylinder and other components for mobile use.
